The Lithuanian Maritime Academy gave this mermaid statue as a gift to the city of Klaipeda on January 15th 2015. It is located right on the edge of the Akmena-Danė River as it flows through the city and under a bridge.
It was created in bronze by Klaudijus Pūdymas.
