Created in bronze by Octavio González, this mermaid and dolphin sculpture was unveiled on March 2nd, 2007 on the Malecón in La Paz.
The Malecón has been developed extensively since 2004, supported by both the city and many of the local businesses that cater to tourism, with a number of the artworks along the Malecón donated by local businesses.
