Last year’s Animal Planet special on mermaids, called Mermaids: The Body Found, was immensely popular, and resulted in a lot of people asking themselves – and others – whether mermaids are real. It actually was asked so often that the US government felt compelled to issue a statement to the effect that there is no evidence of mermaids.
Tomorrow Animal Planet airs the show again, followed by a new show with additional ‘evidence’.
