Marilyn Mahoney is herself a resident at Salmon Beach, an amazing isolated and gated community within the city of Tacoma in Washington. There are about 80 homes - or cabins - at Salmon Beach, and you can get there only by walking down steep stairs, as the entire community sets on the beach as the foot of a steep drop.
