The Gardens of Santa Clotilde lie just outside the town of Lloret de Mar on the northeast Coast of Spain, halfway between Barcelona and France. map
The Santa Clotilde Gardens are located at a stunningly beautiful part of the coast, and the gardens and its sculptures are famous for their beauty, for the spectacular views, and for the history of how they came to be.
Centrally located in the gardens is the Stairway of Mermaids, with two mermaids at the top of the stairs, a single mermaid halfway down the stairs, and two more mermaids at the bottom of the stairs. All five mermaids are riding giant turtles, but apart from that they are individually uniquely sculpted and different poses and attitude.
