New site theme, new mermaid pages

November 2, 2012 By Mermaids of Earth

Well, it has been a busy two weeks, getting the Mermaids Of Earth website fully re-engineered with a new look and theme, while still getting up some new mermaid sculpture pages.

Any and all feedback on the new look is appreciated.

Today a page was added for the sculpture of Miranda, The Dartmouth Mermaid.

Two days ago we added a page for the Mermaid Monument in Espirito Santo, Brazil.

Last week we added the mermaid sculpture in Cayucos, California.

And the prior week we added pages for mermaid sculptures in Baden (Austria), Salado (Texas), Navy HQ in Brazil, San Angelo (Texas), Ganges (British Columbia, Canada) and Sugar Loaf Mountain in Rio de Janeiro.

So there is much to look at.

Rockefeller Plaza Mermaids

The Rockefeller Center in New York City has an immense amount of art and sculptures. Rockefeller Plaza is just one section of the overall Center, but is rich in art on its own, including the very famous Prometheus sculpture by sculptor Paul Manship, which is probably the best known and most photographed sculpture in New […]

Japan’s Twin Mermaids at Mermaid Terrace in Obama

In the Bay of Obama (inside Wasaka Bay in the Sea of Japan) you will find Mermaid Beach on the edge of the city of Obama. Two mermaid statues are found here, commemorating both national and local legends. They were installed in April 1976 as part of an upgrade and renovation of this area. The […]
